Broadband and CATV leader adding Corinex
products to deliver IP based solutions to Businesses, Hotels, and Consumers Stockholm, Sweden (Aug 6, 2007) – Macab AB, one of Scandinavia’s leading companies in the distribution of TV and data signals to homes and businesses, has signed an agreement to distribute Corinex Communications Corp’s award winning 200Mbps Powerline and Coaxial networking products. Corinex’ products will help Macab deliver the fastest and most feature rich IP over Powerline and IP over Coax networks to its large customer base in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland, all without adding new wiring. The major Corinex products that Macab will be carrying are: Corinex Multi Dwelling Unit Gateway which offers up to 600Mbps networks over both Powerlines and Coax in any type of building (commercial or residential) for up to 96 users. Corinex AV200 Powerline Adapters consisting of the desktop, Wall Mount, and new Wall Mount F with Integrated Pass Through electrical socket, all delivering 200Mbps over existing electrical wires. Corinex AV200 CableLAN Adapters which deliver 200Mbps networks over existing coaxial cables, without interfering with normal TV services. All of the above Corinex products offer full compatibility with IPTV services, including advanced features such as QoS (with 8 priority levels), IGMP support, Corinex Neighbour Networking (to ensure multiple networks in buildings don’t interfere), frequency notching, advanced frequency planning, 168-bit 3DES encryption, VLAN support, and “Whole Home Coverage”.
